She is a geoarchaeologist who wants to see the tablet for her own research. Or is she someone else entirely? Eventually the three all reveal some secrets to each other in an endeavor to get home with their discoveries.
The Egypt in this book is one that is full of Victorian cliches: a treacherous camel driver, a young errand boy, a suspicious female academic, and an undiscovered tribe that captures the intrepid adventurers. Will they get home before Gideon's time runs out?
Full of surprises and new adventures, this novel is a fun and captivating read. You realize your time with Gideon Crew is drawing to an end, but the authors do a good job of wrapping things up in a nice fashion, giving him a well-deserved send-off. If you love adventure with a little tongue-in-cheek, this book is definitely for you!
